Welcome to my Greek Bucketlist.

Day Sixteen
Pack up, fly from Athens ATH to Newark EWR on flight EK 209 from 5:35p to 9:20p Newark time.

Day Fifteen
Getting to know Athens’ cuisine alone is difficult, unless you’re already familiar with the city and its gastronomy. With this private tour, a guide shows you around top food spots for an introduction to local gourmet delicacies. Visit Athens’ central market and sample cheese, wine and coffee—you’ll uncover the city’s culinary heritage with the benefit of a guide to yourself. The tour includes tastings and offers a choice of departures.

Day Fourteen
See the sights of Athens in just a day, without the hassle of plotting tram routes or negotiating with taxi drivers, on this door-to-door tour by private vehicle. Hit ancient highlights, including the Acropolis, the ancient Agora of Athens, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis Museum. Watch the changing of the guard, explore scenic Plaka, and shop the Monastiraki Flea Market. Tour excludes entrance fees.
Day Thirteen Part 2
Check in to the Hilton Hotel in Athens, Greece. Where we will watch the sunset behind the Acropolics from this Galaxy Bar.

Day Twelve
Day Twelve will be for exploring Sarakiniko Beach. I still need to find out if there are tours that can set up a little picnic there for us or if I just need to grab a boxed lunch that the hotel provides to bring. I have read there are food options here, but I need to research them.

Day Eleven
I have booked a full 9 hour cruise around Milos to swim in all the caves and take all the drone pictures. This is the cruise we have booked.

Day Ten
This day is Greek Orthodox Easter and we’re going to check out whether Greek Easter brunch is as awesome as regular Easter Brunch. I made reservations for 10 people at 11am at Okto. I spoke to the people at our hotel for what other events might be taking place on the Island and they said that they would help us plan once we arrive. I’m exicted!

Day Nine Part 2
After the ferry ride, which I still need to schedule, I make my way to Volcano Luxury Suites on Milos, where we’ll probably spend the rest of the day getting settled, having a nice dinner and relaxing in the spa in our new Presidential Suite.

Day Nine Part 1
This is the last day in Santorini. We’ll be packing up and making our way to the ferry to make our way to Milos.

Day Eight
On this day, we can take it easy by the pool or we can head into Oia for some more looking around. I made reservations for dinner at this restaurant to watch the sunset.

Day Seven
There are several special beaches on the island, including the red and black sand beaches. I have arranged transportation at 2pm to Seaside on black sand beach. We can explore this beach and other nearby beaches and beach clubs over the day, I have arranged transport back to Villa Michaela at 6:30 so we can watch the sunset from our house and eat leftover buffet food or make a plan for a possible adult night at a bar downtown.

Day Six
Our fully private cat cruise: Life is full of special occasions and Santorini is one of the most beautiful places in the world to celebrate them. A sailing cruise with a catamaran is a perfect choice.
Depart from Vlychada port and Sail to the Red and White beach to admire the unique formations. You will stop for a swim stop at Mesa Pigadia Beach, and marvel at the black menir and the small caves. Head to the Caldera through the Indian Rocks and pass by the Venetian Lighthouse. Stop at the hot springs for a swim in the sulfurous waters and snorkel by the Volcano while the crew prepares the hot meal.

“We walk you through one of the oldest vineyards of the world; Tasting flight features 5 different wine labels produced in-house by Domaine Sigalas strictly with indigenous Santorini grapes and paired with delicious dishes by our awarded Chef... plus 1 bonus wine.
A tasting experience for connoisseurs!”

Day Four
The second full day on the island, one thing we could do is explore the city of Oia. It has restaurants and shops and we could wander at our own pace. I have booked shuttle service from Michaela to Oia at 9am, and back again at 3pm. Then we can relax, shower and get ready for the next shuttle at 6pm for our 6:30 reservation at Ambrosia to watch the sun set.

Day Three
This is the first full day in Santorini. I didn’t want to plan too much since people could still be trickling in and we’re all probably tired and jetlagged. I figured we could check out the area around the house, there are ancient ruins that don’t look like they will take long to walk through, and I made reservations at Panorama for dinner that evening.

Check-in to Michaela Villa Akrotiri
Information about the Villa is here. Still trying to find out if this pool is heated, though they have a hot tub.
I added a second villa, information on that house is here.
